"The initiative is in line with a strategic goal of ACG Global to, not only expand and retain the organization's membership base, but to do so in a way that diversity is sought and achieved," said Eduardo Berdegue, managing director of Corporate Finance Associates and president of ACG Central Texas. "I am thrilled that we signed our first MOU with such fine and rapidly growing organization, and look forward to continue to strengthen our bonds with TMOA."
The event was well attended by members of both organizations including University of Texas Chancellor Admiral Bill McRaven, Pat Hamilton, Commanding General at Camp Mabry, and Lt General Paul Funk, former Commander of Fort Hood.
Under the signed MOU, ACG will offer TMOA, and will receive from it reciprocally two 1-year membership for 2 officers; one 1-term seat at the Board of Directors; member discounted rates to regular programs for a limited number of attendees; promotion of TMOA's event calendar among ACG Central members; and development of joint programs.
