LOS ANGELES, Calif. (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — From whales to snails, the late Ruth Roberts wrote songs about lots of animals. Now, sixteen of these classic children’s tunes are available in digital format on iTunes in the album “Animal Songs That Tickle Your Funny Bone.”
“These songs will get children singing along with big smiles on their faces,” states Susan Nicoletti, Director of Operations for Goldenrod Music and Michael Brent Publications, the publishing companies that oversee Roberts’ songs. Titles in this collection include “The Polar Bear Song,” “Three Slow Snails,” “The Albuquerque Turkey,” and “Danny and Dinah, Two Pandas from China.”
Ruth Roberts had great success as a songwriter in many genres, but music for kids was one of her specialties as she created albums of children’s music for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Spring, Easter, Valentine’s, St. Patrick’s, and April Fools.
“These songs are fun for everyone,” Nicoletti notes, adding that “parents can use them during car rides, at parties, or as a special treat. Young kids especially love learning and singing along with these funny, pun-filled songs. Plus, they are all G-Rated,” Nicoletti states, referencing her five years as a member of the ratings board for the Motion Picture Association of America.
