TUCSON, Ariz., April 12, 2013 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Kief-Joshua Vineyards announces the Second Annual Southeast Arizona Wine Growers Festival, featuring 18 Arizona Wineries in one location, is slated for April 20 and 21, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kief-Joshua Vineyards in beautiful Elgin, Arizona.
The day will be filled with new wine releases, fabulous winemakers, great food, a professional chili cook-off and live music by Jeordie, daughter of 60’s pop star Melanie.
“We are once again bringing together winemakers from every wine region within Arizona,” states winemaker and host Kief Manning. “The day will provide the perfect opportunity to experience Arizona wines at one location.”
On Saturday, the non-profit Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI) hosts a professional Chili cook-off. Guests can taste the winning chili with proceeds benefiting the Southern Arizona Community Food Bank.
In addition to wine tasting, Chef Stephen and Tommy DiMaggio’s “On the Road” Cafe will be on site selling chicken wings, pulled pork sandwiches, sirloin steaks and much more for your enjoyment. The food dishes will cost $8 to $10.
