Lights, luminaries surround the Dec. 6 “Tree of Lights” with the glow of family and community, while the informal Dec. 15 “Songs for the Seasons” extends the inspiration and remembrances to a joyful gathering on the historic Henderson County Courthouse steps.

23rd Annual “Tree of Lights:”

During “Tree of Lights,” hundreds of luminaries and thousands of lights will set the landscape aglow with remembrance. Lights and personalized luminaries may be purchased in advance at http://www.treeoflights.com/ or at the event on Four Seasons’ campus, 571 South Allen Road. Shuttle services will be from Blue Ridge College.

The remembrance continues with the invitation to lift your voice in the joy of song during “Songs for the Seasons,” a holiday sing-along also hosted by Four Seasons. The non-denominational event will be on the steps of the historic Henderson County courthouse, Main Street, Hendersonville, Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013 2-4 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the event will be inside the courthouse.

“The ‘Songs for the Seasons’ debut extends the joy of the 23rd annual ‘Tree of Lights’ December 6 celebration to the wider community,” says Moyer.
