Silicon Valley Law-Firm, Virtual Law Partners, adds Attorney Fred A. Rodriguez for I.P. Law

Mr. Rodriguez specializes in international legal matters involving the transfer of personnel, goods, intellectual property and services across borders.

He has extensive experience with business immigration, business transactions, intellectual property law, and non-profit organizations. He has represented companies in a wide variety of businesses, including education and business consulting, construction, software development, clothing manufacturing, wine production and distribution, print and online magazine publishing, the manufacture and sale of food processing equipment and non-profit organizations (including religious institutions).

Mr. Rodriguez was formerly a partner at Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon and then at Stein & Lubin, LLP, before forming his own firm in 2001. In 2006 he taught a course on International Business Transactions in the Graduate School of Business at the University of Vermont.

Mr. Rodriguez is a member of the International Law Section and Intellectual Property Sections of the State Bar of California and of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He is deeply committed to his civic duties and is currently serving as Trustee of the Commonwealth Club of California, and is a former member of the San Francisco Unified School District Board of Education.

After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont, Mr. Rodriguez received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School. He is fluent in spoken and written Spanish.
