BLAINE, Wash. — What you throw away may come back to haunt you. Original bottles were discovered by workers while excavating in an old landfill site and artist Thoma Hall embraced the opportunity to incorporate them into ‘Journey of a Water Drop.’ A dozen original glass bottles are among the 325 bottles in the art installation and visitors are challenged to locate them.

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — In a press release issued June 22 on behalf of Marta Thoma Hall, there was an inadvertent error in specifying the date of the event, as provided by the news source. As issued, the event date had been noted in the text as July 16, when it should have stated July 17th, 2010, at the new Walnut Creek Library.

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. — Green art is only one way to describe the new suspended sculpture by Marta Thoma Hall at the new Walnut Creek Library north entrance. The art spirals overhead in a galaxy of glass bottles floating upward in space like stars and cosmic bodies. The bottles are an assortment of the every day kind, in various shades of blue, green, purple, and rose.
